(LIU Jiahui) GZIST Guangdong Province Featured Finance and High Quality Development Research Center has been approved by Guangdong Province Federation of Social Sciences of the status as Guangdong Province Social Science Research Base, the second of its kind, which is also the University fifth Provincial level research platform, a major breakthrough in our Innovation and Strengthening Scheme.

Previously, the University had become a State Natural Science Foundation and Social Science Foundation Support Unit, a Guangdong Province Department of Science and Technology’s Industrial Robot Assembly and Application Engineering Research Center, a Guangdong Province Federation of Social Sciences Economic Consulting Center for Rural Revitalization in the Greater Bay Area, a Guangdong Province Department of Education Managerial Talent Research Institute for the Greater Bay Area, a Guangdong Province Department of Human Resources and Social Security Doctorate Workstation, as well as a Guangdong-HongKong Joint BIM Engineering Center.

        Vice President Zhang Rixin has been appointed Director of Guangdong Province Featured Finance and High Quality Development Research Center, and School of Economics and Management Dean Xie Linlin as Executive Director. The Center will conduct multi-and cross-disciplinary research for leading-edge domains by integrating and maximizing research capabilities of experts and scholars from within the University and externally for Guangdong Province financial, economic and social development.
