From August 1 to 6, 2023, delegated by Board Chairman Huang Jiazhou and the university, Vice President Zhang Shimei, head of the GZIST delegation, and members including Liang Xuehong, Dean of School of International Education, Huang Zixuan, Representative of the University Board, Rao Zhifeng, Manager of Yuanda Smart Equipment Co.,Ltd, Wang Li, Deputy Department Head of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Electrical Engineering, Pan Jiannan, Deputy Department Head of the School of Business Administration, Dr. Peng Wei from School of Economics and Management visited Moscow Polytechnic University (Moscow Polytech) and Baltic State Technical University (BSTU). They were warmly welcomed by the leaders of the two universities and attended formal talks on cooperation and exchanges.
On August 2nd, the welcome ceremony and talks were attended by representatives led by Anton, Vice Rector of Moscow Polytech. First of all, Anton made a speech, extending a very warm welcome to the GZIST delegation and introducing the history of Moscow Polytech, which is located in Moscow, the capital of Russia, and was initially established in 1864. On August 4th, Rector and Vice Rector of BSTU introduced the development and features of BSTU, which is a university directly under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Russian Federation. As a key university of science and technology in Russia, its research in machinery, electronics, mechatronics, automation, materials science, laser and other disciplines takes a leading position in the world.
Having reached a preliminary consensus on the partnership with Moscow Polytech and BSTU through this visit, we look forward to our fruitful results.
