(Zeng Huanyang) On the afternoon of October 24, GZIST President Hu Shejun and Rector Safin of Kazan Federal University (KFU) from Russian Federation signed an MoU at Guangzhou Yuexiu International Conference Center. President Hu and Rector Safin discussed openly and widely about academic areas to be worked on. Rector Safin invited President Hu to visit KFU and join their 220th Anniversary Celebration in 2024.
Established in 1804, KFU is engaged in various forms of international cooperation with 245 partners from 58 countries. KFU eminent alumni include Leo Tolstoy, one of the world’s most prominent novelists, and Vladimir Ulyanov (Lenin), leader of the October Revolution and the Soviet Republic.
