Released on Sept. 21, 2022

On September 19th and 20th, our university Youth Volunteer Association publicized  “Garbage Sorting” in the aisle of the large and small soccer fields to strengthen students’ awareness of garbage sorting and recycling, show teachers and students how to classify garbage, for better sorting.

In recent years, garbage classification has set off a wave of fashion, and it should be everyone’s responsibility to actively participate in it and take care of our green home together. The activity was conducted in the form of mini-game quiz, including such games as “The Memory King” and “What kind of garbage are ‘you’?”, which attracted a wide range of students to participate and expand their knowledge of garbage classification. After a round of games, all students said that they gained quite a lot! Meanwhile, the volunteers also actively explained the knowledge of garbage classification to the students in the most intuitive way to enhance the students’ awareness of garbage sorting and guide them to dedicate themselves to building a green campus with their practical actions.

This publicity improved the students’ awareness of garbage classification. They can understand better now that everyone is responsible for garbage classification to create a better campus learning and living environment.
