In order to enhance the communication among the staff and make them get sufficient rest and relaxation after busy work, the University Trade Union organized three groups of nba下注平台 than 40 staff members to go to Yunnan this summer for vacation.
The unique location on a low latitude plateau, the all year round spring-like weather, as well as the strong ethnic minority flavor make Yunnan a mecca for summer holidays. Whether they were new to Yunnan or had visited it several times, each batch of teachers arrived with a sense of appreciation. They climbed to the Jiaozi Mountain at an altitude of 3950 meters, went to Yang Liping’s house—the artist of Shuanglang Ancient Town, overlooked the “Pearl of the Plateau”— Dianchi in Xi Shan, enjoyed the beautiful sunset of Fuxian Lake in the middle of the mountain, admired the real beauty of Cang Mountain and Erhai Lake described by Jin Yong, explored the precipitous cliffs of Shimen Pass following Xu Xiake’s footprints. In addition to enjoying the natural scenery, the staff also enjoyed the intangible cultural heritage, museum studies and a variety of local delicacies.
Thanks to the Union’s careful planning, selection of the travel route and the thorough consideration for safety and pandemic prevention, the 40-odd staff members were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yunnan Province for their summer vacation. Some of the university leaders also joined the trip, bringing them closer to the general staff. Besides, members of the Board of the Directors, very supportive of the activity, arrived in Kunming early to arrange a banquet for the staff and chatted with everyone about their daily life and future career development. With the care of the Board and the university leaders, the trip to Yunnan ended in satisfaction.
The staff members who participated in this Union welfare trip had been dedicated themselves to teaching, research, CPC affairs and student work, there were still some colleagues on this vacation list could not make it due to their summer work schedule.
