On January 14, a New Year Party was organized by the University Trade Union in the new lecture hall to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. Leaders of the University Board, Administration, CPC Committee, faculty and staff members attended the event.
CPC Committee Secretary Huang Shengcheng addressed the gala by summarizing the breakthroughs and achievements in teaching, scientific research, management and services in the past year. He also expressed his best wishes and heartfelt thanks to staff who worked in different posts, calling for the promotion of high-quality development in the new year by grasping new opportunities.
Teachers from School of Marxism lit up the audience with song and dance, which reflected practical efforts for the Three-Holistic People Development, Quality Education, Integration of Industry and Teaching, and Joint Cultivation of Talents. The dances connected all the staff with the review of “Study, Talk and Promote the History of the CPC.”.
Special lucky draw was interspersed throughout the gala party, in which the leaders took turns drawing the grand prizes and the first, second, third prizes, which, brought it to waves of climax. The party enhanced staff exchanges in laughter and promoted their solidarity and cohesiveness.
Vice President Zhang Shimei led the group dance troupe of the Trade Union accompanied by the song “Set out for Happiness”, which encouraged everybody to pursue good health and happiness.
Let us roll up our sleeves and work harder for a bright future together. In 2022, all of us will embark on a new and better journey by remaining true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind for a promising new journey!
