The Second Proposal Completion Meeting of the First Faculty and Staff Representative Conference Concluded

On March 22, the Second Proposal Completion Meeting of the First Faculty and Staff Representative Conference was chaired by Deng Nan, Director of the University Proposals Committee. Eight proposals raised by the representatives concerned “Addition of drinking water facilities in the academic buildings”, “Strengthening social security for faculty and staff, launching supplementary pension”, “Improving supervision to upgrade classroom teaching quality”, “By way of the University History Hall, develop practice base for political and ideological education”, “Elevate the management of canteens for faculty and staff”, “Enhance campus cultural construction for a better environment”, “Improve regulation for faculty and staff personal and sick leaves”, “Develop the guiding counsellor team and raise their qualities and capabilities”.

By means of a ballot, the satisfaction rate for the completion of the above eight proposals was 87.5%, among which, “Addition of drinking water facilities in the academic buildings”,“Improving supervision to upgrade classroom teaching quality”, “By way of the University History Hall, develop practice base for political and ideological education”, “Elevate the management of canteens for faculty and staff”, “Enhance campus cultural construction for a better environment”, “Improve regulation for faculty and staff personal and sick leaves”,  and“Develop the guiding counsellor team and raise their qualities and capabilities”received 100% satisfaction rate.

For the Q&A session, questions raised included “teaching facility naming, cultural sculptures, cultural character, campus appearances”, campus construction sites ensuring rest hours of staff and students”,  and“opening time and mode of the university swimming pool”, which were answered by heads of the departments concerned.

Director Deng Nan thanked all the sub trade unions, the faculty and staff representatives for their contributions and urged nba下注平台 faculty and staff to participate in this democratic progress of making proposals so that the University can benefit from their initiative, creativity and wisdom and secure their legal rights and interests.
