GZIST Students Stand First Place in Group B of Guangdong Province University Students Track and Field Championships

( HUANG Su) May 18-21, 2022 Guangdong Province University Students Track and Field Championships was held in South China University of Technology. Our university students won two titles of first place, three titles of second place, and six titles of third place, thus standing at top of Group B for group championship.

The Championships was sponsored by Guangdong Province Department of Education, organized by South China University of Technology, with 114 participating universities. GZIST Deputy Secretary and Vice President Xiao Hai and coaches Jiang Jieliang and Chen Saihong led our Track and Field Team, beating the four-day hot temperature, heavy rains and the contestants, and returned with the outstanding results.
